O2 sensor simulators? good or junk? Anyone ever put one on thier 318 or 325 e36?

goto ebay motors and do a search for e36 chips you will get a bunch of o2sensor simulator's being pused as a performance mod

Would not touch it...
This chip changes the signal going to the PCM from the HO2S, causing the air/fuel mapping to change. Therefore making the engine run leaner or richer. Too Lean for too long and you'll burn out valves. or Too Rich for too long and you'll melt your Catalytic converter and increase gas milage. Cheap power upgrades are usually just expensive repairs.
