BMW 318i will not idle after making a loud noise while starting
I have a 94 bmw 318i....when I started it this morning it made a loud noise like some type pressure was released. And now it will not idle at all. I need help as soon as possible. Thanks!

will it run with your foot on the gas ? is it throwing any codes?
if it can run you might spray a can of starting fluid around the vacuum lines while it's running. if it hits a vacuum leak the engine will rev a bit. my 325 had a blown line and it did this same thing. the obd flashed a maf code. good luck |

Thank you, it was a vacuum line. I replaced the line which fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.
