Clutch Slave?? and another question..

Trying to determine if the I need to replace the clutch slave cylinder.

My symptom is that while letting out the clutch durning shifting, it will work normally then at the last second it feels like its slamming instead of easing out.

I would like to replace my clutch, but dont have access to a lift. Is this something that can be done with a floor jack, ramps and jack stands?

Thanks in advance!

Roland

roland,
It does sound like you may have a marginal clutch slave cylinder.
As far as changing the clutch, it could probably be done without a lift, but you are looking at a very difficult job at best. If you happen to go in there, don't forget to change the rear crankshaft seal.
