New thermostat- New Problem

Just replaced the thermostat cause it failed. I replaced the thermostat and after about 10 mins, the car went to overheat.

Any suggestions? Is it possible the new thermostat is bad?

When I refilled the radiator with coolant, I never bled it. So there was not enough coolant in the system once normal temp was reached.
