tonight, about 30 min ago, i went to move my 1987 BMW 325is, and i put the hand break down, and shifted into reverse. and it stalled. so i tryed agan. and gave it some more gas, and it moved/swayed/shook(im not really sure how to discribe it) like it was trying to go over a kerb or a rock or something, but still wasnt moving. so i released the gas, shifted into nutral, and puled the hand break up. but it only went haft way up, with alot of resistance. and then back down. shifted to reverse and it moved this time. i shifted to 1st and parked it. i tryed to pull up on the hand break and it only went half way again. and half way it stays. i made sure it wouldnt move and then put a brick behing the tire. so its fine for now, but im just worid about this being a big problem. dose anyone know anything about this. please help I'm REALLY worried about her. Thank you!!!!!!

Take the rear wheels off one at a time and check the parking brake shoes, drum, and assembly.
