Turn signals
I have a 95 325 is. A problem just surfaced. When I make a right handed turn and put on the turn signal all turn signal lights come on (like a hazard light) but when I turn left the turn signal works normal. I am at a loss as to what causes this, and or what to replace. Also on occasion the “brake light circuit” will show on the display screen. Often I can turn the car off and then on a again and it goes away. Happens about once a week?

If its an E36, I would start with the damaged wires in picture/figure two here:

At the bottom of that article there are two pics. The second one is of damaged wires in the loom where it enters the trunk. I would check there first.
