Board Change
Is it just me, or did the e30 & e36 boards get combined lately? I always thought the e36 boards were isolated, why the change?

Yup, I merged the boards. There are a few reasons for this:
- The 101 Projects book is coming out, and there is a LOT of overlap between the cars that are accentuated by the book. E30 owners looking for infomation and E36 owners looking for information will benefit from this overlap. I've been watching other boards for many years, and I feel there's a lot of lost info (particularly for E30 owners) that can be learned from the E36 crowd. We have this setup in this manner on the Porsche 911 side, and it has been *very* successful as a result. - The 101 Projects Website will refer people to this forum for questions. It's far easier to make one referral and answer all questions in one spot than have people get confused about which forum to post in. The release of the book is the primary reason for this change. Based upon the success of the Porsche 911 BBS (currently one of the largest forums in the world), I have confidence that this will work well as well. If not, I can always change it back... -Wayne

Well after that "sticky" thread he started asking everyone to list their model & year when they ask for help, only to have a bunch of wizards list their year & model on that thread, I would think he's given up all hope.

I'm not a fan of the merge. It will be confusing since most dont post model and year.
