stuck fuel pump
1987 325i conv. manufactured in nov.
can't get fuel pump out of gas tank. elect, and fuel disconnected. hanger/pump assembly is disconnected from tank, but unable to maneuver it out.

undo thoses 4 8mm nuts and remove the fuel level sending unit, then you can rotate the main housiing and remove the pump, there is a flat section on the base, so angle it over when almost removed.
