M50/E36 starter to alternator wire ?

I know I should have made a note before taking it apart but ---- Does the large wire coming from the alternator's voltage regulator housing attach at the starter solenoid on the same post as the red , "hot" wire coming from the battery access junction near the DME unit ? Just want to be sure before I attach the battery and turn the key .

There are two red wires, one from battery and one from alternator and theyboth connect to the same point on the starter.

The other two wires are Black/Yellow and Black/Green.
