Angry 93 - 318i - poor running

hi i have a 1993 318i sedan with 140,000. just recently when i hit the gas hard it sounds like the gas is leaning out and looses power, if i ease in to it it runs fine up until about 4000 rpm then it some times pops. this only happens after warm up, before its exactly how it should be. it made me think ok the O2 sensor is bad, no codes but i changed it anyway. no change. so i then changed the plugs. no change. then i just changed the fuel filter, and added an injector cleaner. took it for a 30 min drive. no change.

to better explain the leaning out it gets real back firey. poping and sutch and about half the power. am i missing any common sensors that could be bad. the car is real reliable and i dont think it could be a head gasket or rings but who knows, i just borrowed a conpreshion tester im gonna do tomorrow. about where should i be on PSI.

any one got any ideas. thanks

Could this be the MAF, ICV, or the TPS. out of these 3 which ones become active once the car is warm.

The TPS and MAF you can test with a multimeter. I doubt it is the ICV. I think it is a vac leak. Take off the intake boot and look for cracks, then check all the vac lines.

I agree it sounds like vac leak~~>most common is the vent valve
Do you hear any sucking sounds while car running???
The vent valve is behind the intake area by firewall run ur hand on the bottom and see if it hissesss
