When release the accelarator padel, engine stops or going to be like stop

Dear Friend

I have BMW E30 M40 316i 1989 model car. When I release the accelarator padel, enging stops or going to be like stop. At that time, engine vibrates very badly.

What really happend is, when release the accelarator padel, engine RMP going to 500-600. Then all the red colour light indicators lightly comes and engine going to normal RPM. Sometimes engine get stops.Sometimes when release the accelarator padel,RPM going to 500-600 and advancing upto RPM 1000-1500 and getting normal. If RPM going low and 1000-1500, enging wont stop. Above problem happens very badly when A/C is on. Please advice me to correct this matter.
Thanks&Regards
Channa
