Code reset tool
I want to buy the R5-FCX-II tool. I own a '97 328i and a '94 320i. But, being in South Africa, I want to be sure it is the correct tool. Returning it will be a nightmare!. Also, to reset the airbag warning light on my 328i, do I need to purchase the R5-SRS as well? Don't you guys have a multi-purpose tool for all necessary diagnosis?

The autoenginuity system will do both but the extra software for the air bag brings the cost into the $500's. Oh and it wont work on the 94 which is obd-1.
AFAIK, you will need both. Make sure the FCX will work on both cars because they are OBD-I and OBD-II.

The FCX should work with both because it plugs into the diagnostic port in the engine compartment and not into the OBD-II under the dash

You will need both the FCX AND the SRS tool. the fcx will not reset the airbag lights.
