97 328is Front Seat Removal

I have seen in the directions of the tech info center that all I have to do is unbolt and unplug the front seats to remove.

I have read elsewhere that there is somekind of switch or cable under each seat that must be diconnected first before removing the seats.

Can anyone tell me which is correct?

There are two wire connections that must be unplugged, maybe three on heated seats. Its easy and straightforward.

Raise the seat back to an upright position, pull the head rest out, unbolt it, lay it back to expose the bottom and unplug everything. It weighs about 62 lbs so take care not to scratch you door sills OTW out.
