Smg gearbox and standard 6speed box the same???????
Is the Gearbox and Clutch in a 1998 E36 M3 Evo standard 6speed the same as the Gearbox and clutch in a 1998 SMG M3 Evo 6Speed
I have heard humour that the gearbox and indeed the clutch are the same The Gearbox just has the SMG unit bolted on at the back of gearbox and the Pressure plate is replaced with the HYDRAULIC OIL PIPES for gear selecten change Is this Correct??????? |

It cant be that simple. How would the gear selection happen?
