Brake Lights '94 318i
Hi, I drive a 1994 318i, and I've been having a problem with my brake lights not working. The bulbs are good, and It looks like the brake switch works too because I tested it with a multimeter.
It appears that none of my fuses are blown, but I don't know how to check the relays. Also, my manuals and fuse box legend are in German. Does anybody have a copy of a fuse box legend for a 1994 318i? I was told that its most likely the relay that is bad. I just recently had the battery and alternator replaced, so maybe that has something to do with it. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks! |

There was problem with unprotected wiring where it enters the trunk in the mid 90's. The wires chafe where in the hole when they first enter the trunk.
