1998 e36is a/c charge

Well, after finally fixing the intermittent/dead blower motor problem by replacing the porcupine resistor - 2nd time - I find that I have no a/c. The compressor kicks in b/c the idle shirks a little when pressing the a/c button but no chilled air (at least least I think it's kicking in). At any rate, is it a big deal to recharge? And, is it common? Thx for any insight!

You can buy a recharge kit that comes with a pressure gauge so you can check to see if it is building pressure. The gauge will also tell you when it is full.

Thank you for the reply. Just go to Auto Zone or the like for the kit? I did not see that Pelican has one.

Last time I looked they sold them everywhere. Walmart, Autozone ....
