Throttle Body Coolant Valve
Mounted on the filter housing of my 93 325i (M50) is a valve that bypasses coolant to throttle body prior to the engine thermostat opening on cold days. Mine seems to be open all the time and I live in Florida.
Anybody have any experience with this?

The throttle body should be 200F always?
So why a valve at all? I doubt they put a valve in there just to peak my interest.

On my E36M3, I'm pretty sure coolant continuously circulates to the TB.
