1992 BMW 325i - beeps!

Periodically, while driving, I hear 3 little beeps, some kind of code or signal? What does this mean?

Probably the "on the hour" beeps. Check you dash clock next time to see if it is the top of the hour.

MY CAR STARTED DOING THE SAME THING AND I HAD TO REPLACE THE WHOLE INSTUMENT CLUSTER.

Hi Guys - drove me nuts too........the onboard computer has a memo function - theres a button (memo) and it is programmable to beep at a selected time interval - push the button to deactivate.....
