92 325i wont start
I recently had to replace my radiator because the post where the upper hose attached to the radiator broke off. I had been having overheating issues which might have been caused by this fault. I followed all the instructions from Wayne's amazing book, got the new radiator in and attached all the hoses. When I tried to start the car, it wouldn't. The engine is turning but not catching.
What could be the reason for this? HELP! |
How long was the car down? I would start with the battery.
Does it make any noises? Engine turn over strong? Did you replace or remove anything besides the radiator? |
The car was down for 3 days. The interior lights are still bright, not dim and there are no unusual sounds. When I turn the ignition, it tries to start but never gets going. Both the alternator and starter motor are less than a year old.
Is it possible there are wet wires that would prevent the car from starting? Thanks |

Does the fuel pump buzz for a couple of seconds when you turn the ignition on, this is best heard with the doors and bonnet open.
