new belt new noise

Hi crew,
2 weeks ago I replaced both pulley from engine, before that there was no noise, now after I replaced them everytime I start the car in the mornings, there is a sound as if the pulleys are rubbing to the metal, or as if they are wet, after the car heats up for one minute the noise goes away, this only happens when I leave the car overnight, after it is heated, I start around midday again to buy lunch and there is no sound, I do not know what can it be, can it be some bearings?, if so which one are the ones I need to buy, tomorrow I will buy belt coating spray, and see what happens, it is giving me a headache, Maybe I should not had changed the old ones

I would make sure the belts are centered properly.

There is a tensioner pulley on each belt and a deflector pulley on the main (alt/ps) belt. So 3 total.

Did you replace just the pulleys or put new tensioners as well?

Yes, which model and year. The E36 deflector pulley is threaded onto one of the alternator mouthing bolts, up high by the oil filter.

The timing of your noise sounds more like during time the secondary air pump is on. Are you sure it is from the belts?

When I said three I was referring to the number of pulleys.

"There is a tensioner pulley on each belt and a deflector pulley on the main (alt/ps) belt. So 3 total."

The main belt has a deflector pulley and a tensioner pulley. The A/C belt only has a tensioner pulley.

In your OP you said "2 weeks ago I replaced both pulley from engine," Which I why I was asking about pulleys.
