E30 rough idle
I have an 88 325is that has a surging idle. The idle surges like a bad ICV but it smooths out after about 4-5 surges. There is a minor exhaust leak and a check engine light on. The o2 sensor has been replaced.
When I disconnect the ICV there isn't any noticable difference in the idle. When I wait 10 -15 seconds and re-connect the ICV there is an improvement in the idle. THe car runs rough until 2K and then it is normal. FYI - I can't get the check engine light to flash any codes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Alan |
