325I no Tach or MPG
 Hey ! GuysSeems my 89 325I has lost its tach and mpg reading. I'm not sure were to begin to trouble shoot Any ideas???? |

I've seen a lot of info suggesting that the battery on the SI board (located on the back of the instrument cluster) will cause the tachometer and mpg gauge to go crazy or stop working. It can be replaced fairly easily by soldiering new (charged) ones in place.
