Question No air coming out of defrost vents

I have Bmw 318I 1992 with a problem I can hear the air running but im getting no air out of defrost vents. I'm also not getting any heat either. Just got car on Ebay and just finding out problems can anyone help me. I have major issues with this car it needs all kind of work but I need this fixed to drive. Winter is here and it is getting cold.

Thanks,
Glenn

The defrost problem is probably the flapper motor.

The other is covered here and in lots of other threads:
heater question?

It is probably not easy to get to but the dealer will be expensive.

I would find it, check if it s getting power, make sure it isn't jammed then replace it. The face and foot vents open and close correctly?

Figure out why you are getting no heat at the same time in case they are related somehow.
