Where-to-get/how-to-make steel brake lines
I've bought (and am restoring) a 1987 BMW 325e that has a rear rusted/leaking brake line -- not the rubber ones you can replace with the steel braided items -- but the factory steel lines that run all over of the car. Where mine is leaking is at the back right after the "T"-split to the left and right rear brake calipers (just above the differential). The one that's leaking (rusted and split) is the one that goes to the left-side rear brake caliper. (Right side looks like it wouldn't hurt to replace, too.)
Anyway, this line is on about 12 inches long (total) and does a severe "S" turn-around right after the "T" ----- where do I buy these replacements? --or-- do I have to make some new ones and, if so, what/how do I to do that? Didn't see these on Pelican -- RealOEM says part#s are: --right side (leaking now) part# 34326755557 $7.04 --left side (should replace while I'm there: part# 34326755567 $5.30 help :-) Terry |

Search for the part number, Pelican sells them.
You can make them but not for that price.

Jeron, Yep -- that did it -- didn't think of searching by part# -- I just looked through the general brake section -- so Pelican can get me other parts not necessarily in the "general" catalog, eh? -- just do a search by part#? -- good to know -- THANKS! I sure didn't want to try making them and I was sweating the prospect of even trying it! :-)
