316i E36 1996 Abs
Only When I Come To A Stop At A Junction Etc A Groaning Sound Comes From The Engine Bay And The Brake Pedal Goes Down A Furthwer Half Inch Or So. The Abs Light Sometimes Also Comes On. Obviously Abs But What Exactly? Any Help Would Be Appreciated

Probably a wheel speed sensor going bad. It is just bad enough that it only triggers at certain times.
I would pull the sensors, clean them and blow out the holes. Careful of the dust, maybe try some brake cleaner into the sensor hole.
