Hows it going guys: got a question
recently got my hands on a 95 M3 (automatic coupe if that matters) It has the siren in the engine compartment, it has the red bulb right above the shifter, but the wiring behind the glove box does not match up to the wiring in the 101projects book. It was made in 9/95 so were pretty sure it needs the round remote instead of the square one. it did not come with a remote but we have a round remote laying around with a good battery in it. my question, is there any other place they could have wired this... it looks like the module for the security system is just missing. were like the 3rd owner so it could have been taken out thanks for all the help guys: great forum Kyle E. |

Sound like an aftermarket system. Follow the wire for the red light. It is possible that the alarm itself was removed but the bits were left behind.
