help plz

my miles clock on my bmw 316 keeps going funny sometimes it shows all the miles other times it just shows half of the digits what could cause this

I've heard of it. I cant remember if it is a solder break or a light out. I do remember the fix was tough.

i have a bulb gone on the temp gauge could this cause it
