sedan vs coupe

Hey guys: thanks again for all the info that you ve been giving me, makes my life so much easier

got another questing...

im looking at a 97 M3 sedan right now, i currently drive a 97 M3 coupe, i desperately need the exhaust off the sedan because my coupe doesn't pass NYS inspection and its starting to get aggravating

so basically do these two cars have the same exhaust? im worried that the exhaust for the sedan is longer

Maybe check part numbers on realoem.

Also check aftermarket manufacturers like UUC and Remus to see if the part is the same but most of those are cat back systems.
