98 BMW 328I Blower Motor
I have a 1998 328I with climate control.My heater blower just stopped working.The readout goes up and down when you press it and shows that the fan is running,but there is no air moving.Anything common to look for outside of the motor itself?

"final stage resistor" is THE most common but it presents in different ways.
bad capacitor on the AC unit board is second most common. If it were me I'd replace the final stage resistor, which is due to fail anyway, then go from there.

On E36, the final stage resistor is in the evap box on the tranny tunnel and pulls out from the dirver side footwell.
Does your fan work at all? Only on high?

If the blower does not work at all it could be the blower itself. See if you can push start it while it is "on".
