Bad wheel bearing again?

I just recently noticed I could feel a vibration like something was rubbing on the drivers side when I back up the car. Don't get anything vibration when going forward but I do feel something wiggling about from time to time. I've also just begun to feel some grinding/vibration when I turn left as well.

I did the tire wiggle test but didn't really feel much but I did get a bit of slop when rotating the hub back and forth. Dust shield is well clear of the rotor so I'm left thinking it has to be that bearing again.

I replaced the bearing and hub (plus all relevant nuts and bolts) about 6 weeks ago - though I know that they can fail if improperly installed. The shocks and springs were replace last year (Koni's with Vogtlands) and new tie rods, lower control arms (oem) with UUC urethane LCABs put in about a month ago.

Does all this sound like a bearing to you all or could there something else going on?

Thanks...

Grinding noise while turning in one direction is an indication of a bad bearing.

The simplest cause for a noise while backing is brake pads.

Apparently, my car is currently haunted. Everything is sporadic. Sometimes I get a vibration/sound while backing, sometimes while turning, sometimes when I let abruptly off the gas. Other times I feel something when the left front moves up and down over bumps. And every so often, I can definitely feel something rattle up front when I start the car. Nothing consistent though and everything I can reach is tight and torqued within specs.

For the most part, the car feels just fine - I just tend to be a perfectionist about it an am extremely sensitive to changes. Since it is so random, it's probably better to let something more definitive manifest itself rather than tossing parts at it and hope I get lucky.

Does your caliper have that anti-rattle spring intact? When that goes missing the only thing keeping your caliper from flopping around is those two rubber slide pin bushings. It made a horrible grind in my drivers side rear wheel when I'd back up. Installed the spring and the noise immediately went away. If spring is intact see if your rubber caliper slide pin bushings look OK. If they're cracked and worn replace them.

I noticed the spring a couple of weeks ago when I was in making sure things were snug. Didn't check the whole caliper carrier or slide pins. I'll give that a try this weekend. Thanks.
