Tiny Fuse box adjacent to main fuse box?
My 1988 325 super eta has a tiny box right next to the main fuse box that looks as though it should contain additional fuses. If so, there would be room for three fuses. It currently is empty. There are only two wires leading into this box, a red one and a green one. Strangely, the way these wires are positioned in the box, a fuse would not connect them together. Does anyone know the function of this thing?

Could it be for a relay of sorts?

i was mistaken. There would be enough room for FOUR fuses, not three.

I think I figured it out. I found a post that explained that they are for whatever circuits I might want to add. There is a red wire that is always hot and a green one that is hot only when ignition is on.
