muffler vs catalytic
Hi crew, my car is making a sound like Anthony shummager, i hate it it seems that something is broker, I am new to this, what is the difference between catalytic and muffler, do i need to change both?, in the pictures from websites they look the same to me,
Please reply, and what brands do you suggets, something cheap please it is a 1993 325i |

I'm having a similar issue possibly with what I believe are 1 of the catalytic coverters. It's rattling like crazy when I go over a bump. Went underneath and one of what appears to be the cover is lose,though entire converter and pipe are solidly attached. Does this mean it needs completely replaced? or is there a way to refasten this "heat shield"?
