E36 M3 Trailing Arm Overhaul

Very pretty. Might as well paint the ///M on the arm while you are at it. :)

I'd say Satin is about right.
They will be dirty in a month and never seen again. :) I did the ///M on my brake calipers. I couldn't do the whole thing because the track heat cooks the paint. The ///M is not covered in brake dust anyway. I have considered polishing the calipers. I've see it done and they look good. |

I cant find the pics of the polished BMW calipers but there are plenty of pics of online of polished calipers.
You can clearcoat them after polishing but I would not. I'd be afraid the clearcoat would yellow or peel. If I were you I would paint them black. It would require less frequent cleaning. |
