I thought about that. I'm a little disappointed with the chassis paint. It's supposed to be 'satin' it looks more like gloss to me. Oh well, once installed I won't have to look at them much.

I'd say Satin is about right.
They will be dirty in a month and never seen again. ![]() I did the ///M on my brake calipers. I couldn't do the whole thing because the track heat cooks the paint. The ///M is not covered in brake dust anyway. I have considered polishing the calipers. I've see it done and they look good.

I cant find the pics of the polished BMW calipers but there are plenty of pics of online of polished calipers.
You can clearcoat them after polishing but I would not. I'd be afraid the clearcoat would yellow or peel. If I were you I would paint them black. It would require less frequent cleaning.
