Where to get a new shift arm?
I snapped the shift arm removing the transmission, the thin aluminum one. I've looked all over the site, and I can't find a listing for one. It's for a '92 325i. It's this part right here

Junk yard, eBay, and if all else fails, the dealership.

I hope you didn't break it tilting the transmission down to get to the top bolt.

When I dropped my transmission, I just used a bunch of extensions and U joints. Didn't tilt the motor.
