After Cooling Overhaul a High Airy Whining Noise for 1-2 minutes after startup above.

I just did a major replacing radiator, waterpump, tension pulley, belt, new hoses, water valve, fan clutch, tstat and housing etc. Now just after starting engine, for the first 1-2 minutes there is this high airy whine noise when rpms get around 2-4 k. It goes away afterwards and the engine sounds great. No performance problem either. Is this the result of a new clutch fan ? I re-looked over all connections and everything seems in place.

Check all belt tensions to seeif to tight. Did the cooling system get bleed thoroughly, is it air in there?

Addiong: is it coming from the fan clutch? have someone rev it or do it from the engine to hear where it is coming from

What year model?

If it is a cold start up, check your air pump. Mine did the same on starting, bad bearing. Real easy replacement.

Turned out to be my brand new Rein Automotive Fan Clutch. Removed it and put the original back in and no more problem. Next time I'll get the oem fan clutch. Thankfully Pelican Parts fully refunded me for this defective part.

My Rein fan clutch did the same thing out of the box from Pelican too... What are the odds?

Got a replacement one and it's worked great since.
