BMW Roundel 1999 BMW 323i Convertible problems

I am having a problem with my convertible top. I am pretty sure that one of the arms is bent inside the top storage area. I found a picture on one of the other posts that I can use to help identify the the arm. It is part number 1 but I have no idea the name so that I can order a new one and replace it. And while I was figuring out which part it was I somehow made it so that one of the two motors that operate the top won't pop back in to place when I reset it. is there a trick for that? I have not tried to force it because force is not usually the answer. Please assist. Thank you
