How can I tell which Alternator do I have?

I need a new Alternator, but don't know which Alternator to buy. Is there a way to tell which Alternator I need without taking my current one out??

Here's the info of my BMW:

92' (built 11/91) 325i 4-door sedan, e36, w/M50 motor non-vanos, with an automatic tranny.

Yeah just looks at Pelican Parts and it should be easy. Just reference all the stuff you just mentioned.
