BMW Roundel Intake hose map?

Hey guys. full year, and the car is STILL not running. Whatever, things will work out. My car is a 1987 325IS with 325000 k's. I'm having issues with the fifth cylinder firing, meaning that its not. I drove the car briefly after replacing all the belts and the water pump, tuning the valves and replacing a large amount of gaskets. We have sent the injectors in to be clean, as the looked like they hadn't see the light of day since being put in the car originally. The machinist said they were all fine. Any suggestions to this? We are also taking off the intake system, hoping for some clues and for some other maintenance that needs to be done. In taking the intake off, we have unbolted everything (that we can find, at least!) and it still will not come off. there is this very large tube that attaches from the bottom of the intake to the block (I think). Am I missing something here? Thanks guys, you've been lots of help before.

When you say it won't come off, do you mean there is still no separation when you pull on the intake manifold? Some of the nuts are very hard to see.. I think there are about a total of 12 nuts.

There are several things that need to be removed but I can't picture it in my head right now.. I think the thermostat housing needs to come off also.

The tube to the block is a oil return tube and it is only spring loaded on the bottom.. No nuts or bolts holding it in.

Have you used this website for blow-out diagrams? http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do?kind=P&arch=1

Does your 87 have the m20 engine? one coil w/Distributor? single overhead cam?
Or the m44 6 coils dual overhead cam? I think maybe m20.

Do you have the Bentley Manual? If so, you need to go over all the steps with troubleshooting all of the fuel injection components, particuarly continuity from the DME to injector #5.

Thanks guys! we found the issue, and it turns out we missed a bolt hidden under the intake. We recently used a node light on the injector harness, and the light is blinking (meaning good), but we don't know if the pattern is what it should be. It consistently blinks twice with an even space of time between them, then it has two fast blinks. All the other ends do the same, just with a different amount of consistant blinks between the doubles. I do have a Bentley manual, as well as the 101 projects book from here. Any ideas what could be wrong? I'm going to try a new ECS to see if it changes anything. I'll let you know how that turns out! Thanks again!
