94 325i won't stay running has an exhaust smell
The car has been dying alot when I come to a stop and idling funny. Yesterday when I started it, it was running really rough and didn't want to go without almost flooring it. It jerks at low speeds and dies as soon as you let off the gas, then does not want to start back up without giving it gas.

What you are describing could be a lot of things. The easiest thing to do would be to go to your local auto parts store and have them scan the car for any diagnostic codes.
