M Logo Trany convertion

bro,

my e30 m40 318i'91 using manual trany, would like to know is there any possibilities to convert manual to Auto trany
what is the part needed for above exclude auto trany..

Why on earth would you want to put the auto in that car? You'll get worse fuel mileage, car will be much slower, The automatics of that era really werent that great.

You would need..

The tranny and control module
different driveshaft
different rear end ratio
different pedal cluster
torque converter
flex plate
transmission mounts
different exhaust
different gauge cluster
different shift linkage

Just go buy a car that already has the automatic.

If anything, most people want to go the other way, auto to manual, but it's your money!

yap Over the night I just thinking the benefit...and nothing have a positive aspect to change my trany....will try to have another modification to reduce power during clutch kick down....if any one has a write up...please share
