Trailing arm bushing - accidentally cut into arm a bit, am I screwed :O ? http://img545.imageshack.us/img545/447/imag0335u.jpg so on my quest to get out my trailing arm bushing my saw was in a bit of an angle and i did not notice that it was cutting into the back end of my arm a bit... the cut is about 1/8" or maybe 3/16 deep on the back side of it... i'm worried my car is going to kill me now :( Am I over reacting?? something I can just liquid weld up?? On the bright side, it came right out and it is on the beefy side of the arm, not on any skinny part... I think i'm alright, but just wanted check with a pro |

You have created a sharp spot where a crack can start in a piece of metal that is under stress all the time, but I would use it. I might put something in that slot to keep the water out, but that's all. |

At the very least, i'd fill that slot with JB Weld, then sand it down. |

k, when I was cutting it was very deceiving on how straight the cut was near the end and it just went through like butter :( glad it was in the thickest part of the arm |
