Replacement Alpine radio removal
I have a '94 325is. My son had a replacement Alpine CDA-9884 installed back in '09 and the car was just totaled and I want to remove the radio. It is not as simple as the original radio removal procedure. Has anyone have any ideas how to remove this radio. I did read that the bracket for the newer radio was more difficult. I looked at it a dozen times. Thanks ahead

I would download and look at the manual from Alpine's web site. It should tell you what you are looking for.

Alpines usually have a small flat blade tool that fits into either side of the stereo. You'll be able to see the slots for the removal tool once you pop the trim surround piece off the front of the stereo.
