** I in an E SWAP*** 2.5 in a 2.7 car

Hi

I'm a new owner of a 1984 325e. 5 speed stick
This car is striped down for track use
Question i want to install a motor from a 325I in my car. Can i swap the DME from the "I "car or is there more to it?
Should i get harness from donor car?
controlling Items like power windows, sun roof are not concern.

Thanks for your help

You will need the engine, the DME and the wiring harness. Additionally, you may need to do a bit of wire splicing here and there, but it should be pretty easy.

I motor

Thanks for help and info
I have a low mileage 1991 I motor coming along with harness Dme and Afm. Soon the fun begins After stuffing big block in a 1957 chevy and custom making the headers for it and making a rack from a citation fit (stock box and 2 1/4'' headers where trying to share the same space) this should be just as easy
