CV boot kit snap ring does not fit.....
Snap ring for the end of the output shaft on the inner CV joint.
Tried looking at realoem and all I can find is it listed as being part of a bellow kit. I bought my CV boot kit from Pelican Parts so I thought it would have had the right snap ring size.Basically, the snap ring is so big it goes over the end of the shaft without even needing snap ring pliers to make it bigger. Tried searching on pelicanparts too and can't find the snap ring by itself. Is it even available by itself? Directly from the email confirmation. 33-21-9-067-810-M84 $7.75 2 $15.50 CV Boot Kit, Rear Axle, Outer CV It says its for the inner/outer. Even if it wa sonly outer, the kit still has to contain the snap ring since its not supposed to be reused and needs to be taken off to get at the outer CV boot which I was replacing. So i relooked it up on realoem and both of the different part numbers for inner and outer cv boot are still shown as sharing the same snap ring. Get on the phone to the PP folks and they will help you out with the part numbers and sizes......it does happen sometimes but they usually have great customer support!
