Question Getrag to ZF Swap

I have a 1992 BMW 325is with a 94 325 i Vanos motor,I have been looking for the one thing I have missed. I replaced my Getrag from a 92' 325 is with a ZF from a 96' m3, got a clutch for a 96' 328 i from SACHS (ZF), placed new disc/pressure plate etc on my motor (dual mass flywheel), centered and looks good. I placed the tranny back up to the motor, bolted right up, when I was bleeding the clutch it eventually felt like a brake pedal, it never went to the floor like a normal clutch feeling. I pulled the slave cylinder and manually pushed the fork forward to see if it felt like it were working normal. The fork bottomed out on the pressure plate with no resistance returning it, felt like the throwout bearing didnt even hit the fins let alone release the clutch disc...any ideas? The only difference I have noted is the guide tube on the throwout bearing is longer in the ZF and has tabs instead of being round at the end where it bolts up. Could it be too long and touching the clutch disc? Frustrated and lost right now.
