Question on BMW 3-Series E36 Blower_Resistor

1996 BMW 328i blower motor not working when cold. I pulled the green relay in the fuse box and put it in the freezer. When I installed it it wouldn't work until it warmed up just like in winter. I didn't know these relays could do that! I wanted to help someone else that might of had the same issues.
