I have a 87 325i convertible and I just had to change the alternator and belt. I noticed the power steering and AC belts were cracked too so decided to change them also. They had to come off in order for the Alternator belt to go on but I was not able to figure out how the power steering belt tightened up it dosent have the tension release you all talk about it has two bolts but nothing moves how do I tighten it up

The power steering pump should have an adjustment nut, loosening this will remove tension on the belt. If it will not mmove, something may be seized.
