HI, I have a 1997 328i and my heat isn't working properly. The blower works fine but will only blow cool air when I am in idle and blows hotter air when I am driving faster. Does that seem like a blower resistor that needs to be replaced? please help, winter is coming soon!

thanks,
Cara

No, that sounds more like a coolant circulation problem. You could have a faulty heater valve or a restriction in the heater circuit.

Or air in the cooling system. Bleed the system. If it works well the first time and then starts messing up again, you are sucking air into the system when the car shuts off. That means a leak somewhere. Commonly caused by an expansion tank that is crumbling inside.
