my bmw 316i 1997 model started to raise idling to 1 on the the rave counter sometimes even more than 1 .ln the mornings when its cold l start it and it just turn off until when the engine is warm what could be the problem?

Yes, your idle speed motor is not properly controlling the idle speed when the car is cold and should be repaired.
